The Metropolis Thao Dien

VNRE – Metropolis Thao Dien is located on Ha Noi Highway, an arterial road connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the southeastern provinces, where there will be one of the main lines of the subway system linking District 2, District 9 with the city center.

Metropolis Thao Dien is planned on a large area of 105,000 m2 with a total built space of 700,000 m2 including shopping malls, office buildings, apartments and green parks. The facade of the complex will be the mall has a total area of 140,000 m2 was designed according to international standards with luxury shops, restaurants, cineplex, leisure centers, swimming pools, parks…

The two main buildings are facing each other to form a majestic gate. A green grass cover divide the commercial zone and residential zone to two separate zone. This grass cover is like as a “pause” for the overall landscape of the buildings.

Connect the tower is a dome. In particular, a hanging garden is a combination of exquisite taste with the convenience of transportation between the towers, creating an inter-connected towers together. The hanging garden is different point makes a new trend for modern architecture: bringing nature to “green” concrete, steel and glass which are indispensable materials in the works, create harmony between landscape and benefit of the project.

Metropolis Thao Dien deserves as the first commercial center of Vietnam which is on par with the leading commercial center in Asia.

The An Phu Complex

VNRE – The An Phu complex is located in An Phu An Khanh Urban, District 2, the fastest developing region of Ho Chi Minh City and is the east gate of the city connected to the South-East provinces.

The prject has total land area of 6.9 ha and total building floor area of 350,000 m2. This is a complex project including shopping center – service – entertainment, luxury apartments, offices and five star hotels.

The project is invested by the Saigon Co-op Investment & Development Corporation and Mapletree Investment Co., Ltd Vietnam – a member of Temasek Holdings (Singapore), one of Asia’s leading investment group.

As planned, the project will be implemented in three years, it will be started construction in Q4 2012 and completed in late 2015.

Recently, the Saigon Co-op and Mapletree has also started SC VivoCity project in Saigon South Place complex.

Beautiful concept architecture of Thu Thiem New Urban Area

VNRE – Our vision for the Thu Thiem New Urban Area is to reflect the colorful, exuberant and multi-faceted atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City, while weaving both traditional and modern elements to create a contemporary waterfront, bridge and urban plaza.

The new Crescent Park is a mirror of the Saigon River’s water surface, where ripple patterns are magnifi ed and deeply etched along the waterfront, creating a series of undulating sculpted landforms. This monumental earthwork, stretching a distance of two kilometers, is comprised of unique, individually contained spaces, fluidly melding the shoreline with the land.

The Park’s surface is sculpted, scooped and hollowed, providing both intimate garden settings and large spaces for both active and passive recreations. The street and sidewalk is shaded with the familiar but magnificcent and dignified Ficus lyrata. Extensive landscaping also highlights Vietnam’s lush fl ora. The waterfront promenade is accented in layers of delicate Bauhinia purpurea and Plumeria acutifolia, winding through a series of tropical fragrance gardens.

Weaving the land with folklore tales, we refer to “The Story of Tam and Cam”. This magical story is retold in the Secret Garden’s “Fern Well”, where shallow wells are ringed with lush ferns containing gold fish ponds.

Nestled between a Pandanus Grove and the aromatic Ginger Grove is an elongated, undulating landform clad with a skin of diamond-shaped solar panels resembling dragon scales. By day, the scale-like panels rotate with the path of the sun. By night, upon complete rotation, the reverse side of the solar panels transform into a “Nightingale Garden”, fi lling the air with the sweet fragrance of Night Blooming Jasmine. Combined with the woody aroma of burning incense (used as mosquito and insect repellent), and the earthy scent of the river, the winding promenade will turn into a fragrant path with its own aromatic ambience, becoming a romantic evening destination.

Colorful “Glass Beaches” front the river shoreline. A series of steps along waterfront allow access to the floating market, ferry terminal and water taxi station.

Mirax Cam Ranh Resort

VNRE – Cam Ranh Resort is a five star destination and sanctuary, a place where people may take refuge from the polluted city and busy life style to a relaxing destination. The master plan’s axis for the individual components of the project runs from the buildings towards the sea, making use of the landscape and opening spaces. Viettel Tower

VNRE – Recently, Nihon Sekkei – Coninco Joint Venture won first prize in the competition of architectural design “Viettel Headquarter and Complex Serviced Centre” (Viettel Tower) at lot D26, Cau Giay urban area, Yen Hoa ward, Cau Giay District, Ha Noi.

Viettel Tower is at the most beautiful location of Cau Giay urban area – where is considered as the IT nerve center of Vietnam. The 60-storey tower with distinctive architecture will be the headquarter of Viettel Corporation.

As expected, this building will be started construction in 2012 and completed in 2016.
